Thank you NY!!!

A big THANK YOU to all everyone in New York whom made my trip possible starting with:
Bennyroyce Ronon for bringing me to choreograph for the Chronos Project.

Thanks to my Dancers whom were amazing to work with and i hope that well be able to work again.

Thanks to Dance Theater Workshop for hosting the "Tweet Up" featuring my works and for being such an amazing space with even more amazing people working.

The biggest THANK YOU goes to everyone who came out to support me and my work. This time around I premiered the most honest piece of work that i have ever done which is very much a representation of me, which was scary to do...... I would not be here today if it was not for all of you encouraging me to keep doing what I'm doing. Very pleased to know that everyone thought that my work was "new/orginal and not trying to be like anyone else but inspired by everything". All of the kind words lets me know that Im on the right path and I wanna keep digging and getting evolving.

THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!

Bdiddy in the city

Hey guys!

This month Im traveling to New York for a couple different projects and i have a lil something for everyone.

April 16th is the world premiere of the Squirrel Dance at Dance Theater Workshop. Because space is limited and tickets are hard to get ill be posting the video online right here on this blog the same day so that everyone can enjoy the master piece that is the Squirrel Dance.

April 22-24th is the Chronos Project. Im one of the choreographers for the show and im giving the world premiere of A STUDY OF THINGS GONE WRONG. This marks my 1st 20min piece that is broken down into 4 sections, all under the influence of time. "A study" is a good year and some change in the making. A lot of the sections has to do with what interested and influenced me at the time. There are elements of breaking, european contemp, ballet and has a good sense of humor. This dance really does have something for everyone sprinkled about. You like good interesting movement and great dancers? We got you. You like, tricks, dope lighting, the SF fashion brand HUF? We got you? You like bands such as Grizzly Bear and of course RADIOHEAD.....we got you. Most importantly is that the movement is based upon a clear theme and all of you will be going on a mind bending journey that i created for you. I encourage you to bring non dancer friends because i promise that they will end up leaving with a new appreciation of the arts and how much fun it can be.
