new Pite

Crystal Pite director of Kidd Pivot and resident choreographer at Netherlands Dance Theater is part of new mixed rep company program called Traces along with other choreography by Marco Goecke and Jiri Kylian. Posted below is a behind the scenes video of Pite working with the dancers from NDT along with Marco Goecke's new work.

I almost feel bad because judging by the videos I am more interested in the work of Goecke because it looks very interesting and fresh. Not that Pites work is not but i do enjoy seeing young bloods.

Today I read that Paul lightfoot is the new artistic director of the Netherlands Dance Theatre through the NDT website because I so happened to look at the FB group (dont know how I am on it). A few hours later one of my fans posted a video of this great work danced by NDTII on her profile.

The Second Person

Yet another work set by Crystal Pite on the Netherlands dance Theater. Pite is not only one of my favorite artist/future babies mamma but she is also the resident choreographer with the company and still has her company Kidd Pivot.
