Happy Halloween:

Getting Jacked Fridays.

Over the past week i have not been able to focus on mutch else aside from thinking about getting my house broken into.

It happened last Friday after i was out skating with Jeezy after work. I went back to his, chilled and then went home. Upon entering i noticed that the back door was wide open. I went to go see who was out back smoking. To my surprise no one was there. I looked around and everything was accounted for. I take a nap around 9:15 and my room mate Rogers comes in at 10:30 asking me if Jeezy took his TV? I said "no" and that i was with him the whole time. Not too mention that is a retarded claim cause he lives down the street and just moved out and a close friend of mine. We then discovered that we had been robbed. I look off of my "Fortress of Solitude" and noticed that my camera bag was gone. Jumped off my bed, look at my desk and the camera is gone! The camera is a Cannon XL 1 which was on loan to me from work. Nothing else in my room was gone. My G5, McBook, 2 TVs and a bunch of other shit was all still in my room. Did we get hit by a polite Robber? No. It was an inside job cause there was no forced entry. If someone did rob us off the streets then all of that shit would be gone. Another funny thing is that the other room mate had nothing stolen of his. Just Rogers and myself were robbed which i find very curious. Plus who else knew what i had? Another fun fact is that they stole all the chords including USB firewire that goes to the camera. There is a rat amongst us and im gonna smoke you out motherfucker!

You want proof the economy is down? 2 other people have been robbed. The one thing that all of us have in common is that we were all robbed on Friday.

Last night I went to Farmer Browns in San Francisco to watch the presidential debates.

One thing has to be noted before I go on is the "Town Hall" setting that was used for the second debate. Former president Bill Clinton was the last great "Town Hall" champ because he has the ability to connect with people. The new "Town Hall" champ going into this debate is John McCain. He feels right at home in the "Town Hall" styled debates because he is a straight shooter talking directly to the people.

Watching the debates last night i noticed that McCain was so at Home in the "Town Hall" setting that he was like "A fish in the Sea", i can go on and on about this and i will!

Walking. Walking, Walking. Yeah

Last night only 3 of the 5 names i had mentioned actually showed up. Its been my experience to not freak out over something like that because it just stresses you and everyone else out. I dont get hell bent over one idea and work with what i have and thats all you can do. When its all said and done, none of this is important.  Its just "Art". All that matters is that you take something with you. I want you to feel something that you did not before going into whatever. If you are not involved in the process it does not matter how you got to that feeling so with that said; I do not care about minor set backs because "shit happens". The important thing is to not get shit on your shoes.

Today I spoke with a good buddy of mine from school about this crazy mixed up world. Speaking with him made me feel a lot better. I was telling him that something is telling me that i need to do more but i dont know what "that" is. Right now i am peeved about so many things. The Goverment being at the top of the list and then my job, school, rehearsing, art directing, getting the apt ready there are so many things that i need to oversee that its hard for me to relax. My friend put it into perspective today in a way that only he could and it made me excited again. 

So...... as of now i have my bearings back and contacted another dancer whom i am stoked on working with tomorrow.

The Cannon Xl 1 is the camera that has been selected for this evenings shoot for Studio G.

I am familiar with this prosumer camera because we shot B-Roll with the same camera in my Video production class through BAVC.

Right now i am at work and excited about the shoot later on tonight with Beth, Dores, Garen and Martyn. I got Jeezy to help assist me with the shooting and rehearsal direct while i set up.
