Kanye West new video Welcome to Heart break is fresh to def and on that next level. Thinking about it more its a throwback to the past. Old shit is the new shit. That quote got me thinking about a video that we have been sitting on for the past couple years.

We got flown out to DC a couple years ago to work on a lot of new experimental material. 3 of us in one small space. Garen myself and our genius Director/editor Matthew Taylor. When i say "Genius" im not exaggerating, i mean it. In 2 days time we knocked out over 30 some odd different dance films. Im not too fond of the name dance film so i have been calling them DARTs (dance art). The term Dance Video does not do our work justice. Still to this day we are able to use old material that we have been sitting on cause we dont know what do with it yet. Its funny showing it to others and seeing how well received the work is even though for the most part its old. Funnier showing it to perspective clients who think the works great but dont know how to match it up with they're current client list. Thank the lord for Kanye "Martin Louie the King Jr" and his new video. Welcome to Heartbreak. Kanyes new video is a great example of the type of work that we do even though we have nothing to do with it. Im glad to see "Pop" culture is starting to catch up with thinking outside the box and stop doing the same old run of the mill stuff. Looking at it, i think it will open doors for some of the more experimental work that we do. With the current economy being the way it is WE WANT MORE WORK plus we dont seem so crazy anymore.

27 PACES, Take Part In The Movement!

Hello everyone,

My bad about the lack of post. There is a lot going on with me piecing things together for a new project. Without spoiling all of the fun I will say that this will be the biggest, freshest, cleanest, next level shit that TAGsf has done thus far. The collaborators are a diverse group of some of my favorite artists who are all doing there thing.

With that being said i cant move forward on new movement until i settle down on one theme. My problem is not a lack of ideas either. What do you call someone who has the exact opposite of "Writers Block"? Whatever its called thats me. I have been walking/showering like a mad man. There is not one idea that i love. My little black NoteBook is my constant travel companion. Nothing has hit me and i don't have time to wait for "divine inspiration" so i decided to flip the flow. Starting this Saturday through Monday i will be posting 9 words each until we hit the magic number 27. All of the words are coming directly from my Notebook so you will be working with concepts that i have been tossing around. The following week we will take the top 3 words and narrow it down to one. The magic word that YOU decide on will be my source material to get started on new joints.

TAGsf is opening up the doors so that YOU the reader can be directly involved in the creative process. Dont forget that i cant move forward without knowing where im going. You guys and gals get to chart the course. All you have to do is leave a comment about what word you like in the comment box and I get to put my feet up for second:)

Radiohead to perform with the USC marching band at the Grammy tonight!

- On Saturday night, the Roots' Questo tweets about the Radiohead lead singer busting moves at an LA Grammy party.

Oh, and, there's truth to the rumor going around that Radiohead will be performing with the USC marching band at the Grammys tonight - there's photographic evidence from rehearsals!

NoteBooks

Something that i have learned a long time ago while in school is to always have a notebook to jot down any ideas. There is never a time through out the course of my day that i dont have a notebook near by in my bag or stashed away somewhere at my work or room. I even have one by my bed so i can write down dreams. While typing this out im trying count how many notebooks i have. As of the moment and im drawing blanks. Even more so i cant think of a single one that i have completed. Not a single one if i may be hones,t but its not about that now is it? All of them are used for different reasons. One might be for art, another for choreographic concepts, another for lyrics and another for scheduling. Thats what happens when you are scatter brained.

Today i am brainstorming some new ideas for an upcoming project. Without giving any details i will say that its going to be something new and innovative and more importantly FUN. At this point in the game i have emailed one of the collaborators from across the pond. Now i have one more to go. This stage for me is to think of a unifying theme for us all and i dont know why but its kinda a bitch for me. Guess im thinking too much about it. I know for a fact that the idea will hit me like a ton of bricks. Until then..............

Thinking Cap

Come to find out that my idea for a new collabo is a good one but i need to have a unifying concept. Something that has yet to be thought of as of the moment. We are going for syntax and cohesiveness. Looks like someone will be going on long walks and taking abnormally long showers.
