TRES PLEASE!!!
alright, so yo. Everyone who knows me well knows that i take pride in my skateboarding skills. Im so confident in my skills that my favorite thing to do on a board is playing games of S.K.A.T.E. against anyone i see on a board. I dont think twice about asking pro skaters to play against me either. Heres looking at you HUF!!! Saying that me winning all of the time would be a lie BUT i win enough to keep wanna challenging other fools. I was lucky enough to be born with a strong center and coordination which is what skateboarding is all about. Its no wonder that i moved on to dance because the same kinda coordination applies. learning to do double tours was nothing compared to me trying a handrail. ANYWHO.........On a skateboard I have a pretty big bag of tricks that i more or less have on lock because im always trying to build up my stats. However, the one of the few tricks (well theres a lot) that im not comfortable with which so happens to be the tightest trick in the book and always gets me a letter in a game is the elusive TRES FLIP. Ive been skating over a decade and still have not landed one tres flip. Ive done variations of the trick like, nollie tres, switch tres but never a regular ol Tres Flip. Fuck i can do Rick Flips and still cant Tres. Today i was skating, practicing the trick even going as far as YouTubing the bitch and im getting close motherfuckers. Mark my words i will get that trick. The thing about the Tres Flip is that it makes everything look better. Im gonna show some videos below of myself (not landing the trick) and other pro skaters to prove my point.
i was watching this today on my Gphone while skating. Sad, i know
a clip of me skating a line which would have been mad tighter had i thrown in the Tres Flip.
heres another clip of a game of skate with the Tres Flip king Mike Mo vs. Billy Marks. Anyone else think he looks like Jason Swartz?
I WILL LAND THE TRICK.
OH YES!
OH YES!

Morphoses/The Wheeldon company performing in SF
Ballets great white hope Christopher Wheeldon is bringing his spectacular company Morphoses this week to the Yerba Buena Center of the Arts as part of the companies california tour. This will be the 1st time in San Francisco's history that his work has been seen outside of the War Memorial Opera House and home to the San Francisco Ballet. Wheeldon is bringing in not only a great rep with a couple new works by Edward Liang and Alexei Ratmansky but he also restaged Continumm which was set on SFB a few years ago. It will be interesting to see how his dancers take on the ballet which im sure will be terrific. Im personally very interested in seeing his company because of its amazing dancers with the likes of Drew Jacoby , Rubi Pronk, Edward Liang, Rory Hohenstein (former SFB soloist) whom all bring something different to the table.
heres a YouTube of the company at Sadlers Wells.

Please help support this new exciting project!
Everyone keeps talking about how exciting 2010 is gonna be and i am for sure in that boat. This year marks new beginnings for all of us moving into the new decade. Im very thrilled about the projects that i have lined up this year that will have me traveling a lot collaborating with other like minded artists and companies. My first stop will be in New York City which i am thrilled about. I will be sharing an evening of dance with some other new dance makers (trust me youll love the line up) and could not be more stoked (kinda scared too). Due to the economy we will be needing your support to help with our expenses and some of my travel so i can get into the city and do work.
I pasted the original message below off of FaceBook so that you will have more info about the other artist and what the evening is all about. Please help with whatever donation that you can make so that we can help take you away to another place. Even only if for a little while:)

Hello Friends & Colleagues,
I am writing to talk to you about a project I am currently producing here in New York City. CHRONOS is a shared evening of choreographic works on a theme of Time between four emerging dance makers: Brian Gibbs, Monique Meunier, Nilas Martins, and myself, Bennyroyce Royon.
"Our individual experiences of times is undoubtedly unique to each and one. Does time have a beginning or birth? Does time stand still? Could we ever achieve the fantasy of going back in time? And in our hyper active experience of 21st century living we never seem to have enough time."
Three evening performances in April (22, 23, 24) at the intimate Speyer Hall at University Settlement on the Lower East Side (184 Eldridge Street).
I am asking all my dear friends to help us raise $5000. You can help meet that goal by donating $20.
With your $20 contribution you can help us get 2 hours of rehearsal time to create work. All donations are tax deductible and you will receive a receipt to keep for your records. Also, your name will be printed on the program as an expression of our gratitude. If you are able to donate more... $100 can get us 10 hours of rehearsal time... and so on. Your support also goes towards salary support, administrative costs, rehearsal space rentals, costumes, artist and designer fees, etc.
I suggest donating online through our sponsor, Fractured Atlas. It is fast, easy, and secure. Here is the Link

Yeezy in all caps
FIRST OF ALL, I WANT TO THANK EVERYBODY FOR THEIR CONSTANT LOVE AND SUPPORT OVER THESE PAST 6 YEARS! I'M SO HAPPY TO BE BACK IN THE STUDIO MAKING NEW MUSIC. I WILL BRING YOU THE BEST I HAVE TO OFFER WITH THE SAME DEDICATION THAT KOBE HAS ON THE COURT. IT'S FUNNY HOW SO MANY RAPPERS GET WORSE AS THEIR CAREERS STRETCH OUT BUT TRUE POETS GET BETTER. WE WILL FOLLOW IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF MAYA ANGELOU, GILL SCOTT HERRON AND NINA SIMONE. THEIR WORK IMPROVED WITH TIME. THEY DOCUMENTED WHAT WAS HAPPENING IN CULTURE. THAT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY AS THE MODERN DAY ARTISTS AND POETS, TO ACCURATELY REPRESENT WHAT IS HAPPENING NOW, SO WHEN THE POWERS THAT BE TRY TO REWRITE HISTORY YOU CAN ALWAYS LOOK AT OUR WORKS AND FIND TRUTH AND SINCERITY IN A WORLD OF PROCESSED INFORMATION. LET US SOAK IN POSITIVE FORCES AND LOOK DOWN ON UPON THOSE WHO MASQUERADE AS TRUTH TELLERS AND OBJECTIVE FACT GIVERS WHEN IN REALITY EVERYTHING THAT IS PROJECTED HAS AN AGENDA OF BRAINWASHING US, THE "CONSUMER", THE PUBLIC, TO BELIEVE WHAT THEY WANT US TO. LET US LOOK PAST HEADLINES AND DEAL WITH JUST A BIT OF REALITY IN THIS NEW DECADE. WE HAVE OUR OWN OUTLETS NOW. WE DON'T HAVE TO BELIEVE EVERYTHING ANYMORE. NOW I'LL FIGURE OUT A WAY TO MAKE THAT RYHME LOL!!!
