Sorry about the lack of post on this site. Sometimes a man has to continue on with his life and neglect the interweb. With that said this summer has been one of the best ever and I'm thrilled to share it with all of my 24 followers but you'll have to wait til Monday. There will be new pics from sold out shows, skateboarding, music and a HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT along with rolling out a few new crews from the TAGsf camp so be on the look out for all of that biz.

Help Save West Wave

Head in the clouds a new dance creation by TAGsf that is centered around organized chaos that moves in and out of structure and improv featuring live visuals from Cats are the new dogs and brand new music by David Molina. Anyone who has ever seen any TAGsf shows you know to expect high quality balls to the wall unique movement with an urban edge, inventive lighting and of course brilliant performers but unfortunately this new commission might not ever happen because the West Wave Dance Festival based out of San Francisco might not happen this year due to lack of funding.

West Wave showcases local choreographers and dance companies all across the bay and beyond to commission new works every summer with performances in venues such as Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Z-Space and this year Zellerbach Hall in Berkeley. West Wave has featured artist such as Alex Ketley who had his work shown on So You Think That You Can Dance, Kara Davis who runs Project Agora and Maurya Kerr formerly of Alonzo Kings Lines Contemporary Ballet who now has her own company Tiny Pistol and is the 2011 winner of Hubbard Street 2's National Choreographic Competition. Last year five artist were nominated for an Isadora Duncan Dance award after they're run at West Wave (SFs version of the Bessies in NYC). This particular festival provides a great outlet for artist to show the work and audiences always look forward to all of the various programing. Last year West Wave was the hot ticket in the city with performances by members of Batsheva Dance and Zuhkov Dance Theater giving audiences a real treat by the caliber of excellence from its artist who are from and have performed all across the globe. SF state of mind

On my way to the Bank today I was surrounded by such so much impressive scenery that one can only find here in San Francisco. I had no option but to take as many pics as possible. Granted you are looking through my eyes and there are plenty of other wonderful things about this great city but guess what..........YOU ARE READING MY FUCKING BLOG!!!!

Outside Lands Photo essay

We rolled through to the Outside Lands last Sunday to check out Jack Whites new band Dead Weather fronted by the chick from the Kills. I got lucky and ended up in the VIPS VIP to watch M.I.A. whom had the best set of twin dancers ive ever seen.
All in all, the show was not as good as last year because how in the hell are you gonna top Radiohead? Still we had a good time so whatever. Ill be back next year.

These Are My Twisted Words

Radiohead, my favorite band is back on the scene with new music/touring and so are we. As you can tell I am into many of things all being art related because I like to consider myself a renaissance man. Also I have been in Art School my whole life and know nothing else really.

As of today this blog will be featuring inside info on what is going down in the SF Bay Area Arts Community. Im always looking for sites that have relevant and up to date info on performance, audition info, exhibits, tours, openings with no luck. I’m talking about all of the arts ranging from dance to music to visual and music. I am fortunate enough to have a lot of resources at my disposal and I will be sharing that info with all of the Bay Area Artists. Of course you will be seeing my own shit as well (ha ha).

San Francisco Arts In Store Fronts

The SFAC’s Community Arts & Education Program and the Mayor’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development have partnered to create a pilot Art in Storefronts program that places art temporarily in vacant storefront windows. Tough economic times have left many storefronts empty throughout the City, and this program encourages an alternative use of storefronts to reinvigorate and celebrate our neighborhoods, improve streetscape conditions, and support local merchants by increasing foot traffic. This artist application is due August 14.

Mans Dinner

Sunday I did exactly what i set out to do. Chill!

My room mate the "Crazy Bastard" himself and i went to the beach and decided to rent Lord of The Rings. After the Fellow Ship of the Rings Rogers decided to cook us a "Mans Dinner!"

Something that needs to be said about "Rogers" is that he is a Crazy Bastard but in the Kitchen he is a prodigy child. He is lead chef at a 4 star resteraunt in Marin called Picos.

He made me a pork sandwhich and for himself, check out the pics

Night Owls

Last night i found myself caught in the heat of battle. My knees were all scrpaed up but still i fought on.

Last night i found myself along with my boy Ben being cockblocked by a homeless man.

Last night i found myself taking pics of Pat sleeping with some weird "New Balanced" ergonomical pillows. We were all very impressed. I think that he got them in Japan

Last night i found myself at "Bimbos". A concert hall for the SF band the "Do Dos" performed.

This morning i find myself tired.

A Fish in the Sea

Last night I went to Farmer Browns in San Francisco to watch the presidential debates.

One thing has to be noted before I go on is the "Town Hall" setting that was used for the second debate. Former president Bill Clinton was the last great "Town Hall" champ because he has the ability to connect with people. The new "Town Hall" champ going into this debate is John McCain. He feels right at home in the "Town Hall" styled debates because he is a straight shooter talking directly to the people.

Watching the debates last night i noticed that McCain was so at Home in the "Town Hall" setting that he was like "A fish in the Sea", i can go on and on about this and i will!
